Management Team

Dr. Mark Wöhrmann, born in 1974, studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University, where he received his doctorate in 2009. After his time as a research assistant at the Institute of Automotive Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, he subsequently worked for the Forschungsgesellschaft Kraftfahrwesen (Research Association for Automotive Engineering). At this company, he was responsible for the chassis division and was the contact for all commercial vehicle projects. In 2011 he changed to HEMSCHEIDT Fahrwerktechnik GmbH & Co. KG in Haan, where he took over as Managing Director in 2012. Since 2017 Dr. Mark Wöhrmann is also Managing Director at HEMSCHEIDT Engineering.

Christopher Sames, born in 1977, studied mechanical engineering at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nürnberg. After his studies he worked as engineer, QM representative and project manager at SAMES Engineering in Feucht. Key projects were developments of low-floor bogies for streetcars and passenger car bogies. In 2017 Sames Engineering was taken over by the Hübner Group and renamed HEMSCHEIDT Engineering. Since then Christopher Sames is managing director of HEMSCHEIDT Engineering and mainly responsible for the rail sector.
